where it all begins . . .

"Nancy, I'm ready
for you to do that canvas for my mantel.
Well, no I don't have an actual photo to go by,
but it's in my head.
Yeah, I know that makes it hard to see . . .
but I want to stare at a St. Simons Marsh view, maybe like the one on Ghoul's Inlet where daddy likes to fish.
Or imagine that we've just opened the back door and step onto our imaginary porch to find this . . . sanctuary . . .
I want it to feel like it's July in Georgia and sound like that noisy kind of quiet that you hear when you're in the back parts of the Intercoastal Waterway . . ."

Got it?

Can you paint all of that?

Large Painting . . . small studio apartment in Brooklyn

Finally . . . the serenity of the St Simons Marsh, at home in Suwanee, GA

in my completed room . . .

Thank you Michael . . .

Thank you Nancy~

And thank you Mary Kay!!!
