seven years . . . married

such a small number . . . when you think of My Great Aunt Katie Nell who was married 50 years and still lives at 100 years old

but so packed full of . . . . life

two houses and two babies later, here we are at seven. Which to God is a perfect number! But then there's that "seven year itch" myth. No itching in this home, we're just now getting used to each other.

I'm finding him more irresistible . . . the way he moves in his sleep and leaves empty water glasses all over the house and stacks his clean clothes on the dresser rather than inside. And the way he's the first to jump out of bed at the call of a child, and the fan fare he receives from simply coming home each day, and the way his hair spray smells and how I have to call him in for supper from playing basketball with the neighborhood teens.

He's all mine! And I occasionally share him with his two adoring fans who think he absolutely hung the moon.

But seven years ago tonight, all I knew is that I was madly in love and was willing to go anywhere with him. Seven years later, I'm madly in love and still not to go without him!

You are the Love of my Life . . . always!
