YEA FANCY! Today my sister, Nancy, graduates with her Masters from the New York Academy of Art in New York City! She's wearing bed sheets to the ceremony but you'll have to check out her blog to find out what that's all about (electric unicorn blogspot & www.nancypratorart.com ). She got a job that starts Monday, with a well known painter in NY and she won a big award from the school called the Prince of Wales Fellowship where she will get to paint from the landscape at the Chateau de Balleroy in Normandy, France this August.
We're just proud of you Nancy, and wish you the success and recognition that all of this hard work has earned you. We love you to pieces . . . . .

I'm going to try and make Leah a bed sheet dress out of holly hobbie or something fun like that!!!(any suggestions on charecters? - i have holly hobbie)
Yeah for Nancy! I still have the "Coke" drawing she did for me when we were still undergrads. She used a sharpie and crayons!! It's framed on the wall in the game room at my mom's house. I have a famous artwork!!
Yeah Nancy! What a major achievement! I struggled (10 years - keep that on the down low!) just to get my bachelor's!!!! Proud of you and excited about everything you have in your future!
Congrats to your sister! What a fun life she is living right now!! I'm envious of her talent, and Normandy.....how fabulous! One of my favorite places we visited in France! I'm jealous!
