I was about to type "not much going on here" but that is just not true. The truth is, there's not much going on here that you'd want to read about. But in case you're wondering, or just tired of my last post from10 days ago . . .
- I'm back from the beach trip with my girlfriends and it was beautiful! Late September is the perfect time to visit SEASIDE with girlfriends, family (go on and take 'em out of school for a day), or just the husband! Made me wish for a long romantic trip with just Michael . . . so I'm counting the days until VAIL in February 2009!
- We're doing a little remodel of our house. Well, it stared out 'little' with a single upgrade from the house's original oven to a SS one! then BAM! We completely re-did the kitchen and master bath and have the finishing touches coming through on my main living room. Hopefully it will all be done by Thanksgiving! (hopefully . . .) Suggestion, don't ever mention that "it would be so nice to just change the brass fixtures to silver". Thousands of dollars later you will have a beautiful new bathroom to go with the new flat screen we had to get for the den. Don't ask how those two got connected . . . .
- A battle rages every day around 1:00 at my house- between a stubborn, emotional, and dramatic girl . . . and her daughter! I realize that Leah turned 2, got a new baby, and started pre-school all in the same 9 months, but this does not excuse the ill temper and bad attitude that is displayed at random or every time I ask her to do something (do you see how that translates into "ALL THE BLESSED TIME")! I won't even go into what tactics I have tried and failed but since you asked . . . that's what I've been doing. On a happier note, Leah is a potty pro now and I really am very very proud of her.
- Let's see, anything else?
I hope to go to Athens to see the Dawgs play at least two more times before the season ends
I'm working hard & still in the top ten (#6) for my Mary Kay Unit (yes, I'm tooting my own horn)
Nancy and Dave (her Fiancee) are coming in town next weekend for some wedding details and an engagement party! Can't believe my baby sister is getting married!
Thanksgiving is in 58 days which means Christmas is in only 12 weeks!
hmmmmmmm that's all for now. I promise to have pictures or something fun to look at next blog. Happy Wednesday to you all!

Hey Girl! Thanks for updating us on your life. I will asking for wisdom as you parent your sweet precious Leah. A remodel?! I want pictures! Have a great day and know you are thought of often!
Luke throws tantrums ALL the time--he just turned 3! Sarah never did it so much, really. Luke is nuts!
We've tried time out (doesnt work!), spanking ( he says "that doesnt hurt"--even though my hand hurts me!!) - SO..we just started a sticker chart to reward his good behavior! It is working!! I just ignore the bad, but praise him when something is done that is positive. He knows that once his chart is filled up, he gets to buy a toy from Target! I even took him there recently and he looked at everything and kept saying "When I get all my stickers, can I get this?"
Hear you loud and clear on the 2 year old thing! So proud of you with the Mary Kay! Way to go girl!
Yes, those terrible twos! I will be back in 'em again before I know it.
You mean you STILL want to go to Athens after the Dawgs took that Spankin' at home from Bama last week?? HA! All in good fun, all in good fun!
