First let me say that it's an elf new addition
and part of a new special family tradition!
We went up to Gainesville, GA today
and stopped to have lunch with Gran on the way.
Sweet Santa called me and told us to go
because he had something he wanted to show
Turned out it was THIS!
An elf in a box, with rosy red cheeks that match his red socks
This elf told Santa that he wants to live at our house.
He doesn't eat much and is quiet as a mouse.
The story book says that he can't talk or play,
but flies back to report to Santa each day.
And while we are sleeping he finds a new place to stay,
from which he can watch Leah and Preston obey!
Well today after rest time . . . look what we found
Our elf had come out when we weren't around.

PRECIOUS! And let me just say that it's NOT helping my two monkeys mind any better (I swear they may have even been worse since ours "buffalo" got here!) but hopefully it will have a bigger impact on your two! cute poem!
We have this too!! Our elf is named NELSON, and he came on Dec 1 last year. This year on Dec 1 he arrived again!
