Leah Noel just had her 3rd birthday party for some little reindeer friends. While her birthday is on December 22nd, pulling the party back a couple of weeks helps us to focus on her! We had a pink castle moonwalk, reindeer cupcakes & the Rudolph movie. It was a lovely day!
Another good tip to separate December birthdays from the holidays is to make sure you wrap all birthday presents in something other than Christmas wrapping!!! and never pull a gift from under the tree that will "count" as a birthday gift!
We also have a special birthday banner for Leah, that hangs in our kitchen during birthday week- sure it's up among the Christmas decorations but we reserve the tradition for her big day!
Of course the Biggest Birthday of all is for Baby Jesus!
What a celebration that will be . . . I pray that He is never overlooked amidst all of the Christmas hoopla.
. . .and then there's Michael's big day on December 28th. This year he'll be 33 and who knows how we'll celebrate. It would be easy to justify a simple "Happy Birthday Babe" . After all, we're almost worn out from a month's worth of celebrating. But He deserves more than that so we'll come up with something special. And I'm never to pooped to party!

Happy Birthday to Leah, Jesus, Baby Stargel, & Michael!

hee. hee. Just KIDDING! :)
can't believe Micheal is such a youngin'.......
Happy birthday Leah!!!
You are doing a great job with Leah! My birthday is ON CHRISTMAS DAY!! That is why I am also a "Noel" middle name. Growing up it was tough....never could have friends over for parties, and yes...the Christmas wrapped presents for my birthday were not "right"....obviously now, I love that I share my birthday with the birth of Jesus..but as a child, you just don't get it.
GOod job for you :)
Happy early Birthday Leah:)
You guys have a great Christmas!!
Happy Birthday, indeed! I love the photo of Michael with the kids. It's so happy and sweet. They are a perfect combo of both of you lookers!!
FUN, FUN!!!!
What a fun birthday party. You always do a great job giving her a birthday seperate from Christmas, I am sure it must be tough. Sorry we missed you this year, hope to see you soon.
