Something Brand New . . .

Just wanted to move on . . . from the dispare of what life can bring. And as we all continue to pray for little Ella (thank you for your continued prayers) we are confident in our Creator, perfect peace, and that He is doing a new thing that even already begun . . . It is promised in Isaiah 43:19

"See I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up. Do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."

We are encouraged NOT to dwell in the today but to watch for what God is doing . . . and to believe that even in the driest of places he will make a way. AMEN!

So, back to the sweetness of this good life . . .

6 days until the very first Prator Family Vacation that includes all spouses & grandchildren! All of us Bagwells will meet my parents along with Nancy & Dave all the way from Brooklyn, NY to honor my dad in Hilton Head Island on June 13 as he finishes his term as President of the Georgia Society Of CPA's. Yes, it's a big deal and we are all so proud of dad and his leadership! But especially excited about a real Prator Family vacations . . . just like the good ole days (but with hubbies & babies!)

My Husband ROCKS! and did the kindest, most surprising, & down right sexiest thing last Friday . . . he planned a Date Night just for us!!! Now, that in itself is not unusual- Michael treats me to special nights all the time- but this time was especially lovely. He spontaneously picked a date night, then lined up the sitter, even had a restaurant all picked out . . . and if that wasn't enough- then we went SHOPPING and I got a pair of FABULOUS cowboy-girl boots for just $22!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!

Easy Guacamole:

Avocados are ripe & ready this time of year plus much cheaper (walmart, like .99 ea)

peel and pit 2 ripe (soft) avocados

mash with a spoon full of salsa (or finely chopped tomatoes)

squirt of lemon or lime juice

salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

for extra :)- add a few springs of cilantro

Why do we wait until June to remember how YUMMY this stuff is?

. . . on ice, after a long day at the pool- with a grilled hot dog & BBQ chips ~ WOW! bring on the countrytime, for this city gal!

okay, a Popsicle is a Popsicle . . . if you tell me it is made with 'natural fruit juice' i feel much better about it and then if you say it is loaded with ANTIOXIDANTS well, then it's just like take a vitamin, right? whatever, it' still sweet and wonderful this time of year! It's a big girl's Popsicle! LOVE THESE!
