Prayers for Ella

UPDATE- Ella's loooooong surgery to remove the tumor was successful-meaning they got that huge poisonous thing out of our girl- the edges were smooth and apparently that's a good thing. They did also remove her Adrenal gland but did NOT have to take her Kidney-Praise be to God! the recovery will be hard for the 2 year old and her parents as well. The reports should come back this next week and our request for continued prayer is that the doctors concern about the 'softness' is really nothing at all and the is the end of Ella's battle with tumors and the beginning of a healing summer! Thank you all for your prayers . . .

This Ella (the cute pink one) with my Preston and my BFF from birth, Sheli.

our kids are all about the same age

and the two of us have literally been friends

since we were their size . . .

maybe even before that!

(there are actually four of us in total)

Ella and Preston at his first birthday

Ella & Preston at her 2nd birthday party in January!
they are 6 weeks apart :)

His big sister Leah & her big brother Cole

Why am I showing you all of these?

so that you know exactly who you are praying for tonight!

Ella seems to be sick, not sure of the details as we are waiting for an MRI scheduled for "first thing" Thursday morning.
Please pray . . . .

-that the orange-sized tumor they found, is nothing more than a mass which can easily be removed

- that the doctors find out all of the answers to every single question

- that God is glorified, magnified & made known through out this trail

- that sweet Ella is not frightened or discomforted

- that my dear friend Sheli & her husband Robert are confident & at rest in Him

- that all who watch these prayer unfold around the Upchurch family are witness to another miracle . . .

"it is the lord who goes before you
he will be with you
he will not fail nor forsake you
do not fear or be dismayed"
deut 3:18

update- surgery to remover the tumor scheduled for Tuesday morning here in ATL. They've met with a crew of doctors and heard best & worst case scenarios. Please pray for the BEST! An easily removed tumor . . . no complications, quick recovery, peace & patience for Robert & sheli and contentment for a restless 2 year old. more good news to come soon :)
