those special, particular, and lovely things you do . . . that drive me crazy and make me love you to pieces all at the same time.

Michael:

1. singing in the shower, (from America the Beautiful to Theme from Blue's Clues- he has quite the repertoire)

2. last minute, on everything (buying gifts, taking a shower to get ready, packing for a trip)

3. OJ is his coffee- a must have every morning

4. the way you twitch for a few minutes just after you've fallen asleep

5. the perfect way you make me fit just under your chin :)

6. how you 'secretly' slip Leah extra treats

7. your late night (or early morning ) sweet tooth

Leah:

1. the need to do it "all my by self" . . . all the time. (This is probably NOT just a phase, this is who she is)

2. the want to be with, touching, or close to mommy at all times!

3. imitating Mrs. Heather (her preschool teacher) - with perfect inflection and sing-song voice

4. swinging . . . needing it, loving it, content with it

5. the need to wear a 'beautiful dress' everyday and the battle that ensues

6. how every thing has a name, that changes daily, & must be addressed appropriately- (dolls, cars, shovels, etc)

7. incessant preparedness (has already packed all of her favorite toys & PJ's for our June beach trip)

Preston:

1. the way you bury your face in your froggy

2. the silly little knee hopping that is taking you places faster than crawling

3. that wrinkled little nose when you smile

4. sucking either thumb, anytime
